i recall years ago bush stalker was able to create a flametongue spear by sacrificing (i think) XP
keen to do something similar.

2nd Level Advancements

Hey Nicko. Unlike Angus, by going to Wizard 1, you have heaps to fill these in. :)

I was going to say, missed your 1st Advance, but you really just get 3 then everything anyway.

However, I would move your Advances up a bloc on your PC sheet and then fill in the 'rest' in last box. ALSO - it is of NO use to you taking Arcane Recovery 1st.

Like this:
1. 1st level spell (shield) & spell slot.
2. Arcane Recovery
3. D6 hit points
4. (The rest): 1st level spell & slot; 3 cantrips; ritual casting

Further looking at this, you need a spellbook. I would say you can start with one and an arcane focus or component pouch if you wish (seems you have outlined this from level 1). So put together a spellbook with 6 1st level spells. Here is link to complete spell lists I am keeping at CC.

You can put these onto PC sheets if you wish or just keep them here. These are some rumours/adventure seeds that you know from your time in Dragonfall. Most concern your current whereabouts (Dragonfall), but some may also be about Singing Skull Island (where the Deep Lanterns are sending you on your first mission). So this is what you know about that place.

Rumours determined by:
History skill mod + Streetwise skill mod:
+1 if been in Dragonfall for a year
+3 if grew up in Dragonfall
-1 if just arrived in Dragonfall

So, you have 7 starting rumours/adv seeds :)

I am trying to write up the Eladrin Houses of Marckwild. You (and Shane) have not indicated an exact Homeland for your eladrin, but it does say you left one island to go to another, so I am assuming you are not from Marckwild and therefore have no affiliations with the Houses there.

However, it would be great to know where you and your twin are from for future reference.

I have the basics of what you want. An Eladrin Fighter/Mage (Ftr 1st).

Do you want me to create this guy and just put all the choice parts here? ie for proficiencies etc. Pretty sure I can choose the equipment etc.

I might do that anyway, that way, you just have to come here and select from the options.

Hey Nicko, not sure if you have got anywhere with your PC yet, but note, Wizards of the Coast just released a new Unearthed Arcana article for an eladrin subrace and I LOVE it. Ties them and their moods to the seasons.
