That is going to cost 20,000 gps & 25 workweeks to create once you have the rare item (which you do).

I reckon I would allow the infusion of your own power (using XP) too. For our current XP system (and the fact I am stingy on gold) I would allow you to sacrifice 1 XP = 1,000. (That is still 200 XP or 2 levels in our system. That sounds fair to me ;)).

And yes, I would allow a combination of the two :)

It will require someone with proficiency in Smith's tools so many weeks (depending upon the item rarity). I would also say someone with the arcana proficiency would need to be present for some of that creation.

When I get home, I will be able to check the rarity in the DMG, as I know there IS dragon armor in there.

On a story note, not that it might worry Katar too much, but remember Dragons are the 'rulers' of the isles. You are in an area where dragonborn do not dominate, but their empire to the south (Arkhosia) venerate dragons. Though, being an evil one, I am sure it will only bother Tiamat followers - but you are likely to draw even more heat from draconic enemies ;)

We ended up finishing the caves sequence, and Katar sure showed his cockiness by rushing in and then fey-stepping right beside the leader… something that got him killed in fact (a big hit that did enough damage to kill in one hit)… BUT Shane played a card: "Lucky Break" - which removed all damage from one strike.

I reckon you keep Cockiness myself. Cocky is overconfidence which I got from Katar. It was good RP between you and sister. Also, the others used that drawback well to play Katar. (Nothing wrong with changing or even adding Curious too, but I reckon you were more cocky than curious. You were more, "Let's just go in there and defeat whatever is in there", than, "I wonder what is in that cave?"

Up to you though. But again - talk to Shane - he also updated your PC a little and now you have advances on your way to 3rd :)

Hey Nicko. Unlike Angus, by going to Wizard 1, you have heaps to fill these in. :)

I was going to say, missed your 1st Advance, but you really just get 3 then everything anyway.

However, I would move your Advances up a bloc on your PC sheet and then fill in the 'rest' in last box. ALSO - it is of NO use to you taking Arcane Recovery 1st.

Like this:
1. 1st level spell (shield) & spell slot.
2. Arcane Recovery
3. D6 hit points
4. (The rest): 1st level spell & slot; 3 cantrips; ritual casting

Further looking at this, you need a spellbook. I would say you can start with one and an arcane focus or component pouch if you wish (seems you have outlined this from level 1). So put together a spellbook with 6 1st level spells. Here is link to complete spell lists I am keeping at CC.
