  • Gundren and his brothers have stumbled upon something big on Singing Skull Island.
  • Freilya Stormwind is a member of a secret society dedicated to looking out for civilisation and the cities of the baronies.
  • The eladrin cook at the Drunken Dragon is the head of a secretive enclave of the Order of Ancient Mysteries.
  • Items showing up in the docks suggest some explorers have finally found the legendary sunken city of Carsall. Carsall was meant to have been a city of splendour before Io's Wrath, long believed (according to ancient maps) to have existed somewhere between current day Stromhaven, Marckwild and Vessek. Despite the resources put towards its discovery, it appears it is not the Deep Lanterns that have found it.
  • On Singing Skull island a tribe of goblins auction off a pure white apple following every summer solstice. The magical apples cures all ailments, but if every time someone has tried to grow a tree from the seeds, the goblins have stolen it.
  • One famous ruin on the Island of Ruins sits in a ravine by the roadside - The Sunless Citadel - a fort of the ancients that was swallowed by the earth. A merchant house based in Oakhurst has posted a reward at the Deep Lantern's Guild for the return of 2 members of their house that went to explore the sunken ruin a month ago.
