No, I repeated it the next night. I just realised I had not put it in a forum and thought I would just in case anyone wants to comment ;)

Looks good, get the feeling I somehow saw this before you lost it. Anyway at least you know I'm looking at them.

Okay, these dragon deities have been removed and now have their own pantheon. Called the 'Gone Gods', this draconic pantheon is now on the Religion Page.

Again, I hope players check these out. I lost the first go at these and repeated them.

Updated now…

Hmm. Today, I found a 'draft' of the page which has 'some' of the changes I made.

Not sure if that is better or worse. I have to try and look through what is missing. I guess it is better than starting from scratch? :(

Ah FUCK! I just spent the night rewriting this whole page, changed all the unknown names of months to other dragon gods, wrote notes on all the deities etc AND the page would not fucking save! I reloaded and lost the lot.!!! Fuck.

MUST hit 'Save & Continue' often. :(

I think you looked at the wrong calendar. I used the Cherokee Calendar for my Native American-based Elsir Vale take.

The calendar for Iomandra is based upon the dragon names. I just want to change a couple. Not sure you read all of post above?

They come from the Cherokee calendar.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherokee_calendar

Which means you could keep them if you wanted, without having to go to much effort.

Okay, so the names of the months were done by Christopher Perkins (who first developed this Iomandra setting).

Some of them are dragon gods from D&D/Forgotten Realms lore. One, Ashardalon, is a powerful red dragon that tried to become a god, in the 3E D&D module series.

Some, I have no idea where they came from.

I am going to redo some of them. Name them all after dragon deities or great dragons of the past. Then give a bit of background for them.

For eg. I want to name one after Arranaxus the dragon goddess of magic I have made up as our game has progressed. I will then tie this into the history of the world more :)

BTW. The Waves of Destiny campaign has taken place in Tamara. That is a dragon goddess. That will not change. But I do want to provide some details about who these dragons were.

Thanks. I am glad players are seeing this :) It took a long time to put together.

Don't forget Bael Nerath adds the elven pantheon to the standard. :)

Thanks. Trying to add/write something most nights… rather than just waste time.

I hope so to, some of these are really cool.

Thanks. I hope people have a look. This took hours. Not just finding and adding pics, but researching a few extra deities and finding the references and page number in the books (in the hope players would seek out the extra references for the deities important to their PCs).

Wow some of those look really cool. I may have to go and do my own bit of reading now.

I have finished adding pics to ALL deities as well as a pic of one of their symbols. Took many hours, and probably for no return given only one other person has even looked… and Shane knows his main PC worships Bahamut.

Anyway, I learnt a lot of eastern Euro and Slavic deities. Halfling ones are cool.

(Still waiting for players of the Waves of Destiny campaign to go through these and list their preferred deity (or more than one) in the forum thread for that campaign, where there are sev other threads awaiting an answer too…again, other than Shane :))

Cool.

I have added a couple of dragon deities essential to this setting to the main 4E D&D pantheon too.

(I may add the other dragon gods that were supposedly killed during Io's Wrath - would it be cool to have Bahamut's and Tiamat's siblings that perished?)

Religion: Re: Religion - Lolth

I thought about getting rid of Lolth (as there are no drow in this setting), but have kept her for now as goddess of spiders etc.

It's taken a long time, but I am over 1/2 way through this process. I have made some minor changes to some deities too - such as changing the weapons of some elven gods (too many quarterstaves, not enough swords). I have also gone with not just elven looks as they are Bael Nerath deities (human, elf & half-elf).

Gone with pics to get the 'feel' of this setting. Old-style gods.
