Humans can be found in the foothills of the mountains and some even venture forth to explore or a quest, such as seeking out Mount Velus. From Mount Velus, anvilwraughts ofen escape or wander out into the wider world. (Many of these are warforged). Oreads are common in the volcanic regions and azer work the forges for Purphoros beneath Mount Velus. Red dragons have also carved out their realms in these mountains.
