I have done the Log for our first session. I forgot to do this after the session and my memory is hazy, especially regarding the many conversations and good role-playing moments in Elsir Cross. if any players remember some good important points, please let me know here :)

So, have any players read this? Have I missed some important parts? Please help me fill in the details, especially the end.

Jason's Highlights for today's session:
Hetgrid impersonating hobgoblins to convince the main party of hobgobbers to stay inside their cosy barracks.
Celorin plummeting through the thatched roof to the sound of "there goes my Hero".
Vitkin and Lady Dogra standing shoulder-to-kneecap, Emperoring lightning all over the boar together.
The guards proved themselves worth bringing along as they carved their way through the squad of Hobgoblins while party members went down on all sides, including Khazus.
Poor pooping hobgoblin wasn't even worthy rolling for.
Ervinia scrounged meticulously through the upper keep to find a Potion of Invulnerability.
Rescued Cannel! Woo!
The superneat illusion bridge trick.
Got news and a map of another hobgoblin-taken keep nearby, one much older than Lady Dogra's.
Hobgoblin stabbing his friend in the back thanks to Angus' traitor card.
The fight between Cannel and the Hobgoblin, who went on 2-0 thanks to Angus' initial intervention. Hilariously tragic. Hobgoblin went free after Khazus promised his freedom if he beat the paladin.
and how could we forget linton(?) showing up to save the day
What is this word, ‘spa’? I feel like you’re starting to say a word and you’re not finishing it. Are you trying to say ‘spaghetti’? Are you taking me for a spaghetti day?
I have updated the Adv Log for the last session. Something I thought I had done ages ago, but when talking to Paddy, realised I had not.
Players are free to add to or even take over this log :) Lots of XP in it for you :)

Koss's Highlights and Impressions of the Group
- Silently grateful for the timely rescue of him thanks to the group effortlessly sweeping the enemy group up.
- Glad to have another Ratling to converse and talk to, much to the displeasure of the other characters
- Despite yelling and screaming not too, the group continued to harass a said Tree, which ended it handing Khazus his own arse
- Disappointed that the group were persistent in going to Broken Spire Keep, but prefers to go with them then to try at it alone (this forest is pretty weird).
- Ignoring what happened last time, the group continued to try and pestering another "Tree", finally after constant squeaking they finally leave it alone.
- Their blood lust led them down the wrong path, which they continued to pin the blame on him, after some convincing (and some good rolls) found the actual path to the Keep.
- Koss silently applauded Vitkins use of his bat to confuse the lookout in the tower.
- Sick of the group bickering of what to do, and wanted to take action, Koss skittered across the small field to the corner tower, almost being taken out along the way by a trap, (it was just a flesh wound)
- After a brief ruse with some old "friends", a fight broke out, which Koss took the opportunity for some revenge, landing a bolt right through the gut of his tormentor, a brutal man called Balrat.
Until next time…..
Hey, Thanks Linc.
I think I could use some of this in the Log too. Will post as Koss' Journal or something. I am glad players are doing these. These thoughts are not meant to hide here in a forum though. If players are into this, I would love for you to take on the Adventure Log yourselves. :)
When I update, I think I will just post in Vitkin's notes below as a journal and add a few of Koss's thoughts for good measure.
Main trick to these, so I don't have to spend forever editing, is to keep them in the past tense. Players who have written these before tend to jump all over the place there ;)
“It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” – Harry S. Truman
Hi, happy to have it posted in log. Can't do it myself, says I don't have access, not a member. Posted question in general site forum.
Credit where it's due, I saw Linc's notes and was inspired.
The trick to writing in past tense is to make like you're writing a journal of events that I happened. Clever eh?
Its fun, because it's Vitkin's version of events, does not matter if they miss some details or are incorrect.

Vitkins Notes
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Oh wow… thanks Lachlan.
Methinks this week's log could be an entry from Vitkin's journal. This is well-written, in past tense (thank-you x3). I can just copy this straight over. :)

Updated Khazus' Diary in the adventure log to toss it in at the very end there. Not as well detailed as the rest but more personalised.
Just added Vitkin's Journal for last session to Adventure Log.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Thanks Lachy - you are the best. More XP on the way :)
I'll have a look when I get the chance and will add some pics too :)

I just read the latest entry. Thanks heaps Lachlan - it is brilliant. It's everything I hoped a player would do. I really like it being from Vitkin's perspective too. Thanks for taking this on. I sure hope other players read it.
XP will be coming your way. :) I will add some relevant pictures when I get a chance.

Thanks. I actually enjoy writing these. Helps me build my character more.
It's actually easier writing from Vitkin's POV because it gives me freedom to interpret what happened from his perspective.
Last session I actually kept dot points of what happened, I'll try to keep doing this going forward.
At the end of the sessions, characters feel free to 'remind' Vitkin of any specific events or information that Vitkin may not have seen or been paying attention to.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Pictures now added for this session. I hope it all makes a little more sense now. I think I mixed up the gender of the 2 archers (1 in tower was male; one to appear later then escape was female).
Includes pictures of all defeated and the survivors you now have with you :)

So Vitkin has been misidentifying them the whole time?
Well all humans look the same.
…The Watchers don’t send you off to sensitivity training do they? :P
So the prisoners are;
Premilor
Kresmira
Vladorath
Killer the dog
And Ekatarina escaped.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Ooh. I forgot about Premilor (the original archer in the tower). Who WAS male, but I think I mixed up with female archer that entered later and confused everyone the next session.
Sorry, I seem to be the one mixing the NPCs up. I hope the Adv log clears things up and I hope other players read it :P
I think you have noticed, as you put the cursor over the pictures, their names come up in the bottom left of your screen.
“It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” – Harry S. Truman
Well, because I got confused as well and went off what you said, the log is written as if the first archer we captured, the one Vitkin put handcuffs on, was female. If memory serves, when we first encountered them, you said that they had attacked or killed followers of Pelor/Erathis (one of Khazus’s gods), and were there purely because they enjoyed it.
Of course, you did sort of switch between calling them female, and saying that they were wearing a cloak that made it hard to tell but we ‘thought’ they were female.
So, the log I wrote refers exclusively to the first archer as a woman.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Let's just say, their gender was hard to determine until time spend with them ;)
But given your log says female, then female Premilor is. Maybe appearing male with a male name is part of her disguise…

Just added Vitkin's Journal for last session to Adventure Log.
Couldn't remember/interpret my notes on where we stayed on the third. So just left it out as non-critical information, maybe there was a reason why Vitkin didn't want to make note of it?. If someone remembers something important, feel free to add your own entry.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
OK, Lachy has done a tremendous job on the Adventure Log to this point. Thanks Lachy.
Just wondering whether you would like to continue and add the last session regarding the sewers and plundering the wizard's house?
It would be good to get this up. Any player can do this. If no one interested, then I will put some notes up, but it would be good to get everyone up to speed BEFORE the next session… which I am trying to arrange, but keep hitting hurdles.
The next Friday I was aiming for is apparently already a games night at school for the MATES program. :(

Yes, I still intend to do this, I just have had a server case of lazyness.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Oh sure, blame your "server". :P :D (Oh, me so funny)…
Ahem. Thanks Lachy :)

One day, I will learn to proof read stuff before I post it.

Session log finally posted.
“Anything that can’t be disposed of with a couple of whacks from six feet of oak is probably immune to magic as well.”
Thanks heaps Lachy… let's now hope the players read it ;)
I don't think many have read much here lately other than you and and Paddy. (I'm not even getting replies in character forums). :(
