Age: 85 (Young)
Life of Seclusion - I was the caretaker of an ancient ruin or relic. Guvaano Twilightcatcher, the tribes Elder Wizard, tasked him to protect a tomb of knowledge passed down through the ages.
Personality Trait - I am working on a grand philosophical theory and love sharing my ideas. He believes a rift has opened to a land of fire and sand, this is what destroyed the Green Age and ushered in the Red Age. He must find evidence of this! Maybe he can close it to bring the Green Age back.
Ideal - Free Thinking. Inquiry and curiosity are the pillars of progress (Chaotic)
Bond - I entered seclusion because I loved someone I could not have. He feel in love with a human named E'la, outsider relations are forbidden in his clan and severe punishments for those found. He asked the Elder Wizard to give his a task so he may leave his home for fear of temptation.
Flaw - I'd risk too much to uncover a lost bit of knowledge.
Background
Born into the Sky Singer Tribe of the Twilightcatcher clan, his parents Keyvas (father) and Nuuta (mother) Twilightcatcher lived a modest life as merchants.
He has 6 younger siblings, in order of age:
Radurak (male),
Vinia (female),
Tayo (male) - Deceased,
Riv (male) - Deceased,
Osar (male)
and Kiiretti(female).
He father went missing when he was a child while searching the ruins of Bodach for magical items. His mother, barely able to support the family had his grandparents, Kislan (male) and Theya (female), take care of him for most of his childhood. He was chosen as part of his tribe to learn the art of magic as he had shown promise from an early age.
Life Events
While a teenager, one of hist best friends, Eevuu Twilightcatcher, tried to steal a magic wand from the tribe, it was brought in after a successful ruins search. After it was found missing, he tried to frame Abyuuk. This trickery was found out and the Eevuu was banished. Eevuu holds a grudge against him, even though this was not his fault.
When he was a child, he saw the Elder Wizard, Guvaano Twilightcatcher, cast a spell to fend of some Thri-Kreen who had attacked a wagon convoy. From this moment on he was mesmerised by magic.
A sickness came to the tribe and killed two of his brothers when he was a child, some say it was the Silt Stalkers who brought it to them.
Tribe
The entire tribe is geared toward mercantile endeavors of all sorts. The current chief, Muuton Sky Singer, is considered a member of all clans, so that no clan can claim superiority over another. The tribe has approximately 3,500 members divided among three clans. Of these, the Dayjumpers clan is the largest, with about 1,500 members. The rest of the tribe is divided evenly between the Dawnchasers and Twilightcatchers. The Dawnchasers, for example, continue to operate as herders. The Dayjumpers clan specialises in major commerce and understanding city laws and customs. Members of this clan maintain the tribe's permanent markets in the city-states, dealing, trading, and securing new goods while the remainder of the tribe travels elsewhere. Finally, the Twilightcatchers clan deals in things pertaining to the arcane arts. Spell components, magical items, and wizardly texts of all descriptions are their stock-in-trade. As dealing in arcane merchandise is highly illegal, these elves must exercise extreme caution and take every possible safeguard when hawking these wares in the city-state marketplaces.
Relationships (not sure how many I get, so here is some):
Eevuu Twilightcatcher - Negative - He tried to frame Abyuuk and was banished from the tribe.
House Stel - Negative - A merchant house operating out of Urik. As the house is busy trying to take parts of House Shoms market in Nibenay, it has come into open conflict with the Sky Singers.
Veiled Alliance - Positive - In good standing with the group, particularly at Nibenay.
Silt Stalkers Tribe - Negative - Regularly raid the Sky Singers trading parties as they return with goods for market. The Sky Singers have lost significant amounts of goods to these raids.
