COSMOLOGY
The people of the Elsir Vale and Shentulka follow the Dawn War cosmology (4E D&D Manual of the Planes p6), where the world has echoes called the Shadowfell and Feywild, and two large outer planar regions: the Elemental Chaos (home to individual planes and locations such as The City of Brass and The Abyss) and the Astral Sea (Pandemonium, The Nine Hells, Arvandor, etc).
These deities are a tightened pantheon of the the inhabitants of The West that brought their beliefs with them when they settled the eastern lands.
Of course, other fringe regions and people may have their own deities that they worship (sometimes alongside the standard pantheon).
The Shentulkan humans, and many other racial groups present before the people came from the West, practised animism and venerated spirits. Many still do.
DAWN WAR PANTHEON
Here is an outline of the core deities recognised throughout the lands that once comprised the Nerathi Empire. These deities are usually known throughout the world.
There no rules below. That is because this page is more for use and easy reference within play and is more reflective of the campaign setting than the rules of the game. (This also means the charts remain relevant no matter what gaming system we use, and things like cleric domains constantly evolve and are added to, so the charts quickly become outdated anyway. It should be pretty obvious which domains would be associated with each deity given the information that is presented below.)
The biggest event to affect the pantheon is of course the recent fall of Bahamut. The Platinum Dragon is still presented below, as many still honor him (some of whom believe the great dragon god went into hiding and is not defeated).
